This section provides information for parents and carers about how to access support and advice on local services, parenting issues and more. Each school has a person appointed to help parents access this information and in Forest Row School, this is Karen Kilby who can be contacted via the school office.
The PIC is a trained ‘expert’ readily accessible to parents to signpost them to people ‘who can help’. The nominated person will be trained, set up and supported in their role by Parentlink Parent Information Point. There will be a board and/or folder at school with a supply of information for parents to access in addition to information posted in this section of our website. Parents will be put in touch with effective support. This can improve their lives and help make things easier for their children.
